Miss Dez'ree

Hello! I am Miss Dez'ree.  I am lead teacher, and administrative assistant here at String Bean Farm School. I started working in Early Education in 2021, after transitioning out of a management position in human services.  I was eager to find a career where I could still help others; while returning to my roots of the outdoors.  I have an Associate's degree with a Science Concentration; where my favorite studies were Nature and Culture, and Environmental Science. In my spare time I enjoy; being outside exploring, watching sports, and spending time with my animals.  I have two guinea pigs (who reside at school now), two cats, and a puppy.

My favorite part about being a teacher is seeing little minds explore curiosities of this big world.

Miss Sherika

Hello, I'm Miss Sherika I am the half day and aftercare teacher here at String Bean Farm School. I am originally from upstate New York but have recently relocated to Maine. I have worked in daycare for the last four years before that spent many years working in special education and as a substitute teacher.  I have 3 cats, a Corgi, and fish.  Some things I enjoy doing are camping, kayaking and reading by the ocean.
